Ashley is head of D&A Financial Crime Analytics Strategy at NatWest Group. He joined NatWest in November 2021 from Nasdaq Market Technology where he was Product Manager for AML Solutions. Ashley has more than 20 years’ experience in the field of anti-financial crime and has worked in several banking, consultancy, and technology organizations in the UK and around the world including stints at Accenture and Oracle. He is an expert in analytics, data science and technology for anti-financial crime and was formerly Vice President for Tuning and Optimization for Anti-Financial Crime at Deutsche Bank. Ashley was originally an academic and was Lecturer in Neural Systems at the University of Essex UK prior to moving into Banking. He holds a Ph.D. in Physics from King's College London.
